Biography
A Syrian actor of Kurdish origins, born in Damascus. At the age of eight he discovered that he was fond of drawing and fell in love with the imagination of the shadow. At the age of ten he began to frequently visit the seven theaters of Damascus, such as "Al-Nasr", "Al-Rasheed" and "Andalus". He starred in two theatrical works written and directed by one of his high school teachers. In 1956 he moved to the Free Theater troupe. He played a number of roles on stage, after which he moved on to writing and directing for theater. Among his works in this field is The Servants of the Rich, which he also co-starred in. He also wrote the play The Crazy, which did not see the light due to the bad financial circumstance he suffered after his father’s death. In 1965, the Yugoslavian director Boško Futonovic chose him to star in the movie Truck Driver.

Men Under the Sun
Three Palestinian men strive to escape the hardships of life in a refugee camp. Under the scorching sun, the men enlist the help of an old man, Abu Al-Khaizuran, to smuggle them in an empty water tank across the desert.

His ambition drives him to be a driver himself, and lives a conflict that tears him apart between his love for a girl from his village, and his gratitude to his teacher who hopes to marry him to his daughter. We see the conflict that rages between truck drivers demanding wage increases on the one hand, and the employer on the other. The film depicts the harsh experiences that the hero goes through and learns through them the enormity of the individual battle in life.
Something Is Burning
After the 1967 setback, Abu Ramzi is displaced from the Golan with his family, and he is tired in order to secure a livelihood and his wife who works in sewing helps him. As for the son Ramzi, he dreams of riches quickly and in the easiest way, which drives him to collide with his father, who dreams of a roof that shelter him through halal earnings.
Seven Floors
Screenwriter Goes to the hospital for medical examinations, but he heard strange news. This hospital has seven floors, whenever it is moved to the bottom floor, becomes close to death
