Born Kenneth Michael Barr in Edison, New Jersey. He is the middle child of three boys. Brother Michael lives in Los Angeles and brother Jeffrey still lives in New Jersey. Growing up, Kenny showed early interest music, playing the guitar to the songs of the Beach Boys, Led Zepplin and Kiss. In the late 80's Kenny began playing in bands and hit the Rutgers College bar scene in New Brunswick. After several gigs on the Jersey club circuit, Kenny was invited to play the famous bars of Bleeker St in Greenwich Village, NYC. A chance meeting with famous record producer Russ Titleman in NY lead to negotiations with several record labels including Arista and Columbia Records. In 1999, Kenny Barr released 2 songs for the feature film "Some Fish Can Fly" to positive critical acclaim. Kenny Barr began his acting career on a bet with a friend to appear at a casting call for Karate Kid III. That meeting introduced Kenny to his long time Agent and began landing acting, commercial and print work. Moving to Atlanta in 1998 Kenny was a Bounty Hunter and Private Detective tracking and apprehending fugitives traveling across the US. Kenny has been acting in television and film projects since 2015 and producing several feature films.
