A community is in turmoil when junior high schoolers barricade themselves in an empty factory to protest the draconian rules of parents and teachers. They're sick of heavy-handed teachers and iron-fisted parents. And now they're going to do something about it.

Yota is a total loser with girls, one day after the love of his life, Moremi, confesses her love to his best friend, he comes across a video store. He finds a video and plays it on his broken VCR, bringing Ai Amano to life. She tries to help him win Moemi's heart, but falls in love with him instead.

This video adaptation of Junji Inagawa's novel of the same title contains two episodes: "The Battle of the Women," a horror created by a feud between office workers, and "The Forgotten Item," a horror in which a girl in a kimono appears to a man and a woman living a happy life.

High school student Mikiko travels back in time to the future using a time machine built by Monjiro, the physics club advisor. What awaited her there was the reality that her best friends, Yoko and Tatsuro, were already married and were on the verge of breaking up. Mikiko returns to the modern world with the help of future Monjiro to mend their relationship.

A fishing boat is attacked at sea by a gigantic, hairy monster. After examining the sole survivor (Kanji Tsuda), scientific adviser Dr Murakami (Shiro Sano) suspects the culprit is a “Keukegen spectre”, a shaggy supernatural beast from Japanese folklore. The announcement leads reporter Hideo Akihara (Ken Osawa) to a forest shrine dedicated to the Keukegen Geharha, where he finds several worshipers and learns that an ancient seal containing the monster has been broken.

Tokyo schoolgirl Hiromi and her friends engage in a practice known as enjo kosai, or "compensated dating", where older men pay young girls for dates. Hiromi plunges deeper into this world to raise money for an expensive ring.

A highly anticipated cultural festival is less than a week away for the students of a local high school when mysterious, seemingly paranormal events start occurring within their building. A piano plays when no one is in the room; the power continually shuts off, seemingly at random; footprints are left behind by an unseen presence; objects appear to levitate and are hurled across the room. He is soon caught but becomes invisible man in an accident. However, he is visible to one person: Kera. The story of the play Tomei Ningen no Yuge (The Kiss of an Invisible Man) is overflowing with diverse motifs, including “Romeo and Juliet,” “The Miracle Worker,” the mythological world in the age of the gods, the River Styx and Hades. It develops further to cover World War II and the Imperial system, and together with skillful language play, a theatrical world unfolds in all directions.
