Kate Moran, born in Massachusetts, United States, is a French actress. Kate Moran studied at New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts, and in 2000 appeared in 1839 by Michael Counts / Gale Gates et al. in New York City. A dancer and stage actress, she collaborated for about ten years with director and choreographer Pascal Rambert, as well as in his short films Quand nous étions punk and Car wash. Their relationship is the subject of her text Cloture de l'amour. Between Paris and New York, she worked in film with Yann Gonzalez, notably in Les Rencontres d'après minuit, then with Christophe Honoré and Peter Greenaway. In theater, she collaborated with directors such as Claude Schmitz, Yves-Noel Genod, Jan Fabre, Oriza Hirata, Bob McGrath, and Robert Wilson.
