As a senior in college, Julia was hired full-time to write, act, and edit sketch comedy for the production company, American High, and did so while finishing her degree in Television, Radio, and Film. The sketch group, American High Shorts, quickly amassed a following of over four million across platforms and was recently named the People’s Voice Winner of the 2025 Webby Awards in the comedy category. Currently based out of New York City, Julia performs stand-up comedy, tapes auditions for film and TV, and self-produces her own sketches and short films for her community of over 350,000 subscribers on Youtube. Her love of writing paired with her love of a quick turnaround means she is always making something. Most recently, Julia wrote, directed, and edited a short film inspired by Brock Colyar’s viral article for The Cut, It Must Be Nice to Be a West Village Girl. The short film, linked below, reached 200,000 views on Youtube within one week of being published.
