Upon hearing the news of Madero's death, Porfirio Alcalá and his four cousins interrupt their peaceful lives as farmers to again join the Mexican Revolution.

Pilar and Isabel. Mario and Jaime. Two mothers. Two children. A new family unit. A new normal. Well, at least that is what Pilar and Isabel hope will happen during their week-long vacation in a rural house: that their respective 13-year-old children will be able to understand their relationship, their love, and that they will be able to connect and accept each other as what they should be: siblings.
