From the Auditorium Rai Arturo Toscanini in Turin, the Orchestra Sinfonica Nazionale della Rai, conducted by John Axelrod and featuring the voices of The Swingles, performs music by Luciano Berio, Sinfonia for eight voices and orchestra, and Leonard Bernstein, Divertimento for orchestra and Fancy Free, suite for orchestra.

From the Rai Arturo Toscanini Auditorium, conductor John Axelrod presents three distinct moments of great music inspired by three iconic films: the Symphonic Dances from Leonard Bernstein’s *West Side Story*, which, before being adapted for the cinema (twice: in 1961, directed by Jerome Robbins and Robert Wise, and in 2021, directed by Steven Spielberg), was one of Broadway’s greatest hits; the Orchestral Suite from Federico Fellini’s La Strada, featuring the famous music of Nino Rota; and the Suite from Star Wars, the film saga created by George Lucas in 1977 with music by John Williams.
