On a cold winter night, just before Christmas, 16-year-old orphan Nick runs away from an institution in the Ardennes. During his escape, he meets Leon, a down-and-out comedian. The two don't hit it off right away. Nevertheless, Leon will help Nick find his grandmother Alice.

On the streets of Antwerp, Badia, Junes and Volt are trying to tear themselves away from their past, but the underworld is inexorably pulling them back in. Adamo has worked his way up to become one of the most influential figures in the Antwerp drug trade. He becomes ever more entangled in a web of power and danger. His friends have to make a choice: stay loyal to Adamo or choose safety.
