A made-for-TV propaganda short created during the height of 'the war on drugs' to expose drug usage amongst teenagers. Only two men who are aware of such a dire situation, Burt Reynolds and Judd Nelson, can lay their insight on the epidemic that's preying upon the youth of America.
After hearing about auditions for a new band down at the malt shop, Gloria decides to ditch her piano practice to participate. She faces stiff competition from local favorites, Kids Incorporated, but they all decide that working together will give them the edge they need. Meanwhile, a new kid in town, known only as "The Kid," looks on, wishing he wasn't too shy to audition for the band.
Mr. T, with the help of a host of friends and special guest performers, attempts to instill good values in children via a series of comedic and musical vignettes, taking place on the beach, at the park and on city streets.
