Biography
Jason Wright Downs (born September 8, 1973, in Columbia, Maryland) is an American actor and singer, best known at PRT for his portrayal of Lenny in the Guillermo Cienfuegos production of The Homecoming. He graduated from New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts with a BFA, and has performed on stage and screen for over 30 years. Some of his credits include John Waters’ Hairspray, Clara’s Heart with Neil Patrick Harris, Racing Daylight with Melissa Leo and David Strathairn, NCIS: Los Angeles, and NCIS: New Orleans. He toured with the National Players production of The Tempest as Caliban, has played Romeo in repertory, and Lorenzo off Broadway. He was also signed as a recording artist with Jive Records, releasing two albums and 5 singles, one of which was a top 20 hit overseas (White Boy With A Feather) resulting in a European tour.

Gospel Hill
Gospel Hill tells the intersecting story of two men in the fictional South Carolina town of Julia. Danny Glover plays John Malcolm, the son of a slain civil rights activist. Jack Herrod (Tom Bower) is the former sheriff who never got to the bottom of the murder. Their paths begin to cross when a development corporation comes to town with plans to raze Julia's historic Gospel Hill.
Racing Daylight
RACING DAYLIGHT is a spooky murder mystery as well as a supernatural love story that transcends time. The film captures the journey of Sadie Stokes (Melissa Leo), a librarian, who comes back to her Cedersville family farm to take care of her catatonic grandmother (played by Leclanche Durand). They are the sole torchbearers of Cedersville. Sadie's happy existence is threatened when a mysterious image appears suddenly in her mirror, calling out the name "Anna" before vanishing. Haunted by the apparition, Sadie slowly begins to assume the characteristics of Anna Stokes, her ancestor, while discovering that the only person who can satisfy both herself and the spirit is her crush Henry (David Strathairn), the local handyman and an ardent Civil War fanatic. However, the plot thickens when Sadie eventually discovers that Henry is a reincarnation of Harry, a soldier and Anna’s love interest. Clara's Heart
David is a teenager whose parents are in a deteriorating marriage after their infant daughter dies. Clara is a chambermaid at a Jamaican resort who's hired to be a housekeeper.
