Hugh Whitemore adapted Bruce Chatwin's novel for this tale of a New York antique dealer who travels to Prague to buy the porcelain collection of the late Baron Utz, only to become embroiled in the wreckage of the dead man's unusual life history after he discovers that the collection is missing.

The story, written by former George Stransky former political prisoners and today's chairman Pen Club is situated to 50 years and uranium camp of political prisoners in Pribram, where after the fall of the Stalinist cult comes at the end of 1958 as a prisoner of the former Chief of Main Administration of correctional facilities Colonel Good. Former chief topic of coexistence, "a guard" and political prisoners in the Bolshevik camp served timeless makers to reflect on the possibility (or impossibility) of forgiveness and a sense of justice. The film, unfortunately, below expectations - mainly because of its rarity and lack syžetovou arching dramatic arc of the story, including natural gradation. Nice camera and vice versa are cast, formed literally myriad of top Czech actors. A representative of one of the main roles - Jiri Schmitzer in 1997 was awarded the Czech Lion.

When little Jirka Novák and his classmate Zdeněk's family take part in a merry Santa Claus journey through the city, he has no idea how important a change in his life this evening will bring. The story of a ten-year-old boy who unexpectedly discovers his grandfather, with whom his parents had separated forever years ago, sensitively tells of the loneliness from which little Jirka finds a way out and manages to bring his grandfather back to the family.

Restorer Rauch, who lives in an unsettled relationship with his wife, is assigned to appraise a rare collection of antiques. When he is supposed to take the items to the commission, his wife borrows a car and secretly drives off with her lover to a cottage. During the trip, they are both shot. The investigation initially leans towards a love motive, but Rauch claims that the collection included a rare goblet with rubies, which was of immense value. And the goblet has disappeared...

A psychological drama exploring the notion of the doctor as a moral authority, who within the framework of their everyday work must face questions of life and death. The film is adapted from a novel by Valja Stýblová, in which the author draws upon her personal experiences as a former neurosurgeon. The protagonist of this drama is an ageing professor, based at a Prague neurological clinic, who is haunted by issues concerning his own principles and values, and also by the case of a young patient, Víťa, afflicted with an inoperable tumour.

Czech Television's epic historical film draws on the breathtaking dramatic life of the great of Czech history, King Charles IV.

Set in a small-town hospital, the film tells the story of the great suffering of a small rascal, nicknamed “Lies and Steals“, who promises his little partner that he will bring St Nicholas - a traditional figure of Czech Advent - to the hospital room. He fails to keep this promise, his efforts being thwarted several times by the pedantic head nurse, who is called the Old Goat. In the course of the plot, the strained relationships between the three adults - the alcoholic Dr. Koníček, the head nurse and the young nurse Pipka - are revealed, all burdened with various resentments, false illusions and disappointed hopes. Despite all the conflicts, and as if by a miracle, there is a kind moment of extraordinary emotional understanding at the end, and Nicholas finally appears in the hospital.

Sonya is the heiress to the riches of a Czech noble family—the Hajns. Petr, a social climber marries her, ignoring some shady goings-on—in particular, an insane uncle who prowls the mansion believing himself invisible, a peccadillo the family indulges. The uncle’s stalking every corner of the house, popping out of cupboards and out from behind curtains slowly takes its toll on the young bride.

And so Vladimír must deal not only with an unusual task, but also with his unexpected growing affection for the princess, whose father has meanwhile chosen a completely different groom for her. Perhaps only a magic noodle of knowledge can resolve this tangled situation.
