The Brothers – Celebrating 50 Years of the music of The Allman Brothers Band performed at Madison Square Garden in New York City for one night only March 10, 2020. The Brothers— Jaimoe, Warren Haynes, Derek Trucks, Oteil Burbridge, Marc Quinones—were joined by Duane Trucks and Reese Wynans and special guest Chuck Leavell.

The Allman Brothers Band were initially not happy with the first two releases, but they were able to fix the production mistakes only 40 years later. On April 29, a DVD will go on sale, followed by an audio recording of the famous concerts in New York 5 years ago. Then, on the Allman's favorite concert venue, the Beacon Theater, on March 26, 2009, they completely played the material of the debut (1969) and subsequent (1970) records, made under pressure from the producer in an undesirable sound for them. Now 15 tracks of the new DVD-CD-box are released in the form ... in which the public has known them for more than 40 years, but in the presentation of a completely different group (of the same name). 40: A very special number, and this DVD proves why the Allman Brothers Band is a special group indeed. On March 10, 2020, hours before the United States came to a complete halt due to the pandemic, "The Brothers" gathered at Madison Square Garden to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Allman Brothers Band, the last show the band played under that name, it was on October 28, 2014 at the Beacon Theater in Manhattan. The concert turned out to be the last public appearance for the musicians on stage for the whole year, this only added mystique to the event that closed the book on half a century of musical tradition. Featuring performances by original ABB drummer Jaimoe, along with Duane Trucks, Derek Trucks, Warren Haynes, Otil Burbridge and Mark Quinones, as well as guest appearances by original pre-ABB Second Coming keyboardist Reese Wynans and Chuck Leavell, who played with the band from 1972 to 1976.

Rock legends the Allman Brothers perform live at New York City's Beacon Theatre in this three-hour set filmed live in March 2003. Highlights include "Midnight Rider," "Whippin' Post," "Statesboro Blues," "Desdemona" and "A Change Is Gonna Come."

On 19 March, 2009 Eric Clapton joined the Allman Brothers Band on stage at The Beacon Theatre in New York City for the first of two historic guest appearances. Other guests that evening were Susan Tedeschi and Danny Louis of Gov't Mule. This year marks the 20th Anniversary of Allman Brothers Band performances at the Beacon and the 40th Anniversary of their founding.
