Jagannath Guha (1946 – 2020) was a Kolkata-based actor, writer, director and a notable figure in Bengali cinema and theater, known for works such as Bor Bou Khela (2010), The Japanese Wife (2010), and Raahgir – The Wayfarers (2019).

Filmed in India, Rumer Godden’s story has been adapted and directed by the Jewel in the Crown team. Two English schoolgirls arrive in New Delhi, 1959.
