Different couples go to a hotel which has an special offer for staying over at the 31st of december 1999 in to the new millenium. The movie follows the different couples and their reasons to be in the hotel.

The Loenatiks have to move. The old Zonnedael clinic has so many defects that the patients have to leave. Dr. Bomhoff has a good alternative: Binnenzorg. This is a closed institution, where many other patients reside. The new clinic has completely different rules than the five patients were used to at Zonnedael, and that provides enough craziness for a real feature film...

Merel, a single midwife, is done with men, but her biological clock is ticking inexorably. And yes, she gets pregnant. However, the whole family suddenly seems pregnant. Her 60-plus father Piet has just become a father again with his young partner and her 23-year-old niece Eva is also expecting. Annet, Merel's older sister, who suffers from the empty nest syndrome, has a husband Theo who only wants to travel because he thinks is too young to become a grandfather.

Based on a book about an infamous real scandal in the Dutch crime scene, the film aims at exposing the horrors caused by corruption on both sides of the law. A rookie policeman is coerced into obtaining secret information from a childhood friend turned gangster. The childhood friend turns informant. But his revelations are hardly the most important "leaks" in the story. In fact, the new relationship between old friends goes all wrong, and the young policeman becomes increasingly involved in a deadly web of lies, crimes, treason, and revenge, all seemingly out of control.

Seven socio-economically successful women around the age of fifty come together in France for their annual multi-day bike ride.

Anna is a vital woman who is married and has two daughters. She picks up her old passion of writing again after frequent requests by a colleague and a friend, but she had not foreseen the consequences of family and friends reading her stories...

Vagabond Bob finds a suitcase belonging to stockbroker Peter and returns it to his hotel. There he meets Marion, who happens to be Peter's mistress. Unfortunately in doing so he loses his only possession of value: a lottery ticket.

When Elsa, after a somewhat remarkable application, is hired by a high class zoophilia phone sex company, she can start working straight away. After a short introduction a problem arises. Elsa's team is unable to meet a caller's unusual request and sales are rapidly declining. After hours of practice, Elsa thinks she has the solution.

Nursing home Zonnedael has been shut down by director Bomhoff: the psychiatric in-patients Bep Brul, the Major, Fats, Ms. De Haas and Dr. Doolittle are reintroduced into society against their wishes. Nurse Ten Hoeven, who always cared for her patients with love and care, is grieving: her main purpose in life has gone. To make matters worse, she is kidnapped. Of course the patients take action immediately. Under the Major’s guidance they embark on a risky and lunatic venture, to finally discover the incredible truth behind the kidnapping.
Making Waves is the story of Cella (Jacqueline Blom) and her 71-year-old mother Johanna (Kitty Courbois). Life smiles upon Cella. Happily divorced, having two children and a successful job as a presenter at a local station, for which she interviews people every morning who take the ferry across the IJ river. In her enthusiasm, Cella resembles her mother, once a celebrated violinist, but the similarity also causes friction between the two women. Just when Cella meets a new love, her father's sudden death puts her life on a different track. Johanna increasingly muddles past and present and brings back fragments of memories that point to a painful secret she carries on her back. Cella tries to dig up the truth.
