Biography
An Iraqi actor, whose artistic career began in the theater in 1934 as a participant in school theatrical productions. He enrolled in the Institute of Fine Arts in Baghdad and graduated in 1945 as part of the inaugural class. Subsequently, he joined a scientific mission to the United States to pursue a master's degree in theatrical directing from the Art Institute in Chicago. He directed several notable theatrical works, including "Julius Caesar" and "Wedding of Blood." Later on, he transitioned to acting and participated in numerous productions, with noteworthy ones such as "Aliya and Issam," "Al-Jabi," and "King Ghazi." In 2005, just moments before the commencement of the Iraqi Intellectuals Conference, he suffered a sudden heart attack, succumbing to his passing within a few minutes.

Said Effendi
An Iraqi film follows the story of the teacher, Said, as he moves from one house to another, eventually settling in the home of Azzat, a neighboring coffee seller. The film unveils the hypocrisy of the neighborhood residents who conceal malicious intentions and feign love, all the while observing signs of neglect permeating the area. When the owner of the house requests Said to leave, the residents vehemently oppose his departure. They unite against the homeowner, sparking a confrontation between Said's son and Azzat's sons, ultimately prompting Said's son to seek revenge.
King Ghazi of Iraq
The film depicts the biography of King Ghazi, one of the kings of Iraq in the 1930s, who sought to break free from the bonds of British colonization and adopt a nationalist path. This led various parties to attempt his assassination, including the servant Sa'id, who is also disposed of after the assassination. The film also portrays aspects of life in Iraq during the 1930s.
