Baton is a collection of three 20-minute Sci-fi anime films dedicated to the 150th anniversary of the establishment of Yokohama city. On Planet Abel, human-like robot Apollo (Ichihara Hayato, Rookies) and robot-like human Mikaru (Ueto Aya, Azumi) come upon a stowaway robot with a mysterious "Cipher" chip. Not knowing Cipher's powers, Apollo takes the chip for fun, throwing both him and Mikaru headfirst into a mind-boggling mystery that affects the past, present, and future.

To revive Tendokai, Okita (Yasukaze Motomiya) and Kurata (Yoshiyuki Yamaguchi) form the Washio-gumi, recruiting former members like Murata (Shunsaku Kudo) and Yagi (Yudai Uenishi). They are warned by retired Kozo Otani (Shun Suda) about an impending police raid on their organization. Despite Kurata's questioning, Otani remains vague. Meanwhile, Akinari Myojin (Kaneko Sho) discovers that Jinseikai was being controlled by Prime Minister Anan (Ikki Hankai). Before they can act, Jinseikai's headquarters is destroyed by a "mysterious man." Hozumi (IZAM) of the police suspects Washio-gumi is behind it, but Okita and Kurata are uncertain. Hozumi suggests the conspiracy may be tied to Kazuma Washio's (Hitoshi Ozawa) past, prompting them to investigate. Okita visits arms dealer Genkichi Hyuga (Masataka Naruse), who holds crucial information that leads Okita to a shocking truth…

To survive, Sankōkai Fourth-Generation Chairman Daiki Yabuta (Kenji Matsuda) plans to create a new yakuza group led by Okita Shōhei (Yasukaze Motomiyac) from Washio-gumi. This group aims to unify yakuza nationwide, similar to the former Tendokai under Kazuma Washio (Hitoshi Ozawa). Meanwhile, within Nihon Tōgōsha, Kazuma Washio is expanding his influence, prompting the leader Tōjō (Kentarō Shimazu) to take action and plot Washio’s assassination. However, the plan leads to unexpected outcomes... Additionally, a letter sent to Washio-gumi and other national yakuza organizations pushes Okita and the others into even greater peril.
