Feliks Dzerzhinsky alone goes to the headquarters of the Left Socialist Revolutionaries and Anarchists, he manages to persuade ordinary soldiers and sailors, participants in the rebellion, who are now cracking down on their leaders.
Eisenstein gets in trouble for shooting a grouse. He is told that he must go to prison for his crime. However, his friend has invited him to an aristocratic ball. Eisenstein, despite being married, wants to go to the ball to meet women. Eisenstein lies to his wife. He tells her that he is going to prison but actually he goes to the ball. His story arises the suspicion of his wife. His wife devises a plot to catch her womanizing husband.
A quiet and shy girl Katya is assigned to the construction of a highway. The young workers accept the young trainee very warmly and help her in everything. In time Katya falls in love with one of them - the foremost excavator worker Vasya Plotnikov. He is a very cheerful, cheerful guy, the soul of the company and the favorite of all the girls. However, Vasya is preoccupied exclusively with his own person, revels in fame and success, paying no attention at all to the modest Katya.

(1946 American release title) has two artillery officers meeting an attractive girl in Moscow between battles. One falls in love with her and they vow to meet in Moscow on a bridge at Six P.M. when the war ends. The war puts them on diverse trails, but the pledge is fulfilled against a setting of Moscow's famous fireworks displays.
