Sara wants to live a life as a Norwegian girl in Norway, now she wants to break out of her family. This is hard for her as it affects her families honor, and the safety of her boyfriend Erik, it gets even harder when her parents makes her leave the country to marry her cousin in Kurdistan. Sara is pushed into a corner and has to make a decision, break away from her family or preserve the family honor.

Her father, whom she looks up to, expects Sara to one day take over the family-owned halal butcher shops and sees martial arts as nothing more than a hobby. The film explores multiple themes. It is about family love and loyalty, but it is also a journey into the unknown—one filled with desperation, sorrow, betrayal, and the hope of new beginnings.
