A naive apolitical young man, who is interrupted by a fundamental religious environment, turns bitter.

Maruf is a young man from Southeast Anatolia whose only concern is to marry his beloved as soon as possible. His mother became disabled while giving birth to him, which has strained his relationship with his father. Maruf wants to join the army and takes leave from his unit.
