When a sultry torch singer falls for a sinister rock musician, she is pulled into a dark underworld of crime and corruption. As her fascination with her criminal lover grows so does the danger and she is caught in a brutal shutdown between a psychotic blackmailer and a determined cop.

The place is Melbourne, Australia 1978. The punk phenomenon is sweeping the country and Dogs In Space, a punk group, are part of it. In a squat, in a dodgy suburb, live a ragtag collection of outcasts and don't-wanna-bes who survive on a diet of old TV space films, drugs and good music. And the satellite SKYLAB could crash through their roof at any moment...

80s, Milan, Italy. The disappearance of the great groups from the 70s and the need of music different from the Sanremo commercial songs led to the creation of a new record company: "Vox Pop". One of the first recordings from the label was "Blues get off my shoulder” from Carnival of Fools, a band which revolved around the figure of Mauro Ermanno Giovanardi, already known in the underground scene.

This remastered edition highlights the extensive video material, featuring restored archival music videos and a dedicated documentary produced for this release. Alongside the visual content, the album is presented in surround sound and includes a selection of bonus tracks.
