Historical documentary, on the life and work of the great Greek politician who contributed decisively to the shaping of the physiognomy of modern Greece. Venizelos came to Athens in 1909, after the Goudios Movement, at the invitation of the Military Association and, upon assuming the prime ministership, clashed with the palace. The film follows the man's path, through recorded testimonies (cinematic newsreels, photographs, newspapers), from his beginnings in Mournies, Crete, until his death.

Donusa is a small island in the Aegean, visited by the mainline ship once a week. One winter day a young German photographer, Stefan, arrives and soon feels strangely attracted to a local girl called Eleni. The stranger’s presence works as a catalyst shedding light on Donusa’s conventions.

After a long decade of separation, a rising politician accompanies his ex-wife to the airport, thirsting for closure. As both fight with their inner demons, a suicide bomber threatens them. Will they find redemption this smiling afternoon?
