Christos Simardanis (Alexandria, 21 March 1957—Athens, 12 March 2018) was a Greek actor and announcer. He was born in Alexandria, Egypt and lived there until the age of 6. He studied acting at the Central School of Speech and Drama in London. He had declared himself an atheist, homosexual and a KKE voter. He died of cancer at the age of 60 on 12 March 2018 in Athens. He participated in dozens of film and television productions, but was also active in the theater. Among other things, he became extremely well-known for his announcements in television and radio commercials. For 19 years (until 2012), he was the distinctive voice of the advertising messages of the Mega television station, while he also voiced hundreds of product promotional commercials. He also had charitable activities and carried out the non-profit voiceover of many messages of a social nature.

The Documentary portrays the tenacity of the Greek soldiers during WW2, which forced Hitler to disperse his forces in a manner unfavorable to his strategic objectives. It catalyzed the alliance between Britain and the United States and resulted in aborting the Axis plans in the Mediterranean, the Middle East, and the Eastern Front. During the first thirteen months of the war, Hitler's unstoppable war machine had occupied seven European countries and had enslaved a population of 120 million by fighting for less than three months. The surprising seven-month-long Greek resistance to the invading armies of Italy and Germany that followed in 1940-194, gave the Greeks the first Allied victories on land and became a beacon of hope and an inspiration to freedom-loving countries everywhere.

Makis and Litsa, a couple in their forties, pressured by financial difficulties and midlife problems, see the possibility of inheriting from their aunt as a way out of their troubles. But Litsa's sister and her husband, as well as their aunt's lawyer and his friend, an engineer, have their own plans. The bequest of part of the inheritance to charities forces them all to take a trip to their late uncle's birthplace. An unexpected event, however, upsets their plans, giving the whole affair uncontrollable dimensions.

Short Greek movie.

Set during the Greek civil war. A villager is forced to leave his house and property and go to Thessaloniki with his daughter and son. They find refuge in an old building with hundreds of other people. They live a miserable life as the daughter becomes a whore, and the son has to work.

A satire of life in modern Greece, presented through a series of different stories about sex. There are several couples and their relation with sex in parallel stories that come together in a hilarious way.

Elias of the 16th Precinct follows three friends – Elias, Thomas and Vangelis – who face considerable financial hurdles with their debts rivalling the size of Everest. They decide the only solution is to snatch money from Vangelis’ boss, Labros ; a cafeteria owner, pawnbroker and fence. While Thomas will attempt the breaking and entering, Elias will be disguised as a police officer – for security reasons, of course. Hilarity ensues as this comedy of errors sends their plan spiralling off in a totally different direction.

Makis , a man with difficulties in the stock market, falls for Roula , who is the mistress of a big tycoon , which Makis has invested in. Makis becomes witness to an assassination gone wrong. The police are after him thinking he is the shooter but the real assassin is after Makis to recruit him to his terrorist beliefs. The only comfort Makis can find is Roula who follows him on his deadly adventure.

Odysseus, a typical bourgeois, married and father of two, is working in the accounting department of a large company when he is suddenly fired, leaving him stranded. Now unemployed, with severance pay in his pocket, he wanders aimlessly around summer Athens. In his wanderings he meets a girl who represents for him the lost youth. He follows her everywhere, but every now and then he loses sight of her and worries. It's a wander from Athens to Hydra, and yet it's full of surprises, funny moments, but also suspense.
