A great love blossoms between them, until unforeseen events disrupt their relationship. Giovanna, who is pressured to sit with the club's customers, quits her job and returns to the circus... The film highlights his vision of a Greater Greece and refers to important events in Greek history such as the formation of a government by Venizelos after the Goudi movement, his dispute with the King over Greece's stance in the First World War, the temporary his withdrawal from politics after his defeat in the 1920 elections and the Asia Minor disaster. In a rented apartment in Belgrade lives Srećko, who always plays the same combination of lotteries in the hope to win a premium one day. However, the winning lottery paper, by unfortunate circumstances, reaches the hands of Žile and Sale, the owner of the local cafes. Unprepared to manage this money, they go to the Greek island Corfu in the hopes that will inspired them for a business. Two suspicious Belgrade "businessman" fallow them to Corfu to steal them the ticket.
