The band was magnificent, the hits came like pearls on a string, both the audience and critics cheered - and now it is possible to experience the party night at home in their own living room. Kaizers Orchestra - Live At Oslo Spektrum contains a large number of hits and favorites from one of Norway's largest rock bands by far, with songs that span the entire band's career. Here is everything from the EP debut "Prayer from Hell" to the singles from the fifth album Violeta Violeta Volume I, performed on an atmospheric stage full of pump organs, oil drums, chandeliers and red velvet. And, as I said, a band that bursts with energy.

One of the highlights of Kaizers career was to perform whole "Violeta Violeta Volume III" in the Opera House together with conductor Erlend Skomsvoll, The Norwegian Radio Orchestra and Oslo Philharmonic Choir in January 2013. This project marked the end of a sweeping musical journey for Kaizers, which both emphasizes the band's musical development and the common theme in it, through 12 years in the Norwegian music scene. Helge was lured away from his studies at the teacher training college and drawn into the magical world of Kaizers Orchestra because he was the only one in class who could play the harmonium and accordion. He never dreamed of being a rock star, nor even really liked rock music - but he has lived the rock-n-roll life ever since.
