Sha'ban meets Fereshteh in a film studio. Director of the studio, rejects Fereshteh for avoiding nudity in the film scenes. They hire in a nightclub. Sha'ban's clumsiness causes them to be fired that night.

A group of free-spirited young men and women, living in a hippie-like manner, lead a life of indulgence and carelessness. When the father of one of the girls leaves on a trip, he entrusts her to the local motorcycle mechanic. The young biker makes every effort to warn her about the dangerous consequences of her reckless lifestyle.

Overcome with shame and guilt, Ebraam hangs himself, and the townspeople force his wife and his sons, Aslaan and Salim, to leave their home. They move south, and years later Aslaan, by working at the Port Authority, manages to provide Salim with the means to study. Salim goes to the capital to continue his education, and Aslaan enters the service of Farrokh in order to steal the property of Teymour, the port’s contractor.
