This is the story of two Greek families, named Delafrangas and Bisbikides. The former family is very wealthy & lucky, the latter very poor and continually struck by fate. Poor but honest Martha is in love with Giakoumis, a young builder and bouzouki organist, but all her dreams fall apart when posh Tzela "steals" the love of her beloved one... A couple of flash backs, following their families roots back to WW2 and the Turkish domination, and a hidden secret will unfold the story's ending..

The political backstage strikes, always for its own benefit, all kinds of scenarios aimed at not changing anything in the country. A comedy about a world that makes sure - in a sometimes criminal way - to keep up the pretense and do nothing at a time when finally some people have to plug in to do something.

A muck raker journalist tries to trap the Education Minister, why is rumored to be gay, but he perceived as gay. Dismissed from his job, but becomes the idol of all sexually oppressed. Forced to represent the gay, he decides to establish "alternative" party with the former minister, who represents his lover for electioneering purposes.

It is based on a true story, where a young soldier and the wife of a revolutionary guy falls in love while in the background we witness political turmoils of Greece at that time.
