Composed of two independent, medium-length segments set against the backdrop of the early 1980s Greek society, "Peri Erotos" pivots around the unforeseen complications of eternal Eros. Starting with "Chrisanthi", the female narcissism--paired with fetishism and latent homosexuality--gives birth to emotional impasses, unchanneled sexual energy, and ultimately, erotic violence. Then, in "Iason", a young man torn between two women struggles to find his feet in an ever-changing game of twisted love. As unrestrained male passion takes over, the man attempts to reconcile the conflict between life and death and cope with rejection and self-destructive masochistic tendencies.

Odysseus, a typical bourgeois, married and father of two, is working in the accounting department of a large company when he is suddenly fired, leaving him stranded. Now unemployed, with severance pay in his pocket, he wanders aimlessly around summer Athens. In his wanderings he meets a girl who represents for him the lost youth. He follows her everywhere, but every now and then he loses sight of her and worries. It's a wander from Athens to Hydra, and yet it's full of surprises, funny moments, but also suspense.

Alexander is a young man who dies of leukemia at the age of twenty-six. At the hospital, his mother, his wife, and his friends stand by his side. Trying to react to the grim idea of his impending death, he asks his wife to make love to him. His memories take him back to his early adolescence and his first sexual encounter in a brothel.
