Eva goes to Budapest to visit her friend Tini's wedding but as soon as she arrives, the husband-to-be breaks up with Tini. When Eva decides to take things into her own hand and follows him to the Hotel Atlantik.

The two happy fitters Eddy and Tommy are doing overtime to ensure the great travel-exhibition of the department store they work in is ready for display. Outside, they see a poor newspaper seller, who looks longingly at the beautiful things in the display window. So they simply decide to smuggle the unfortunate inside and compete to win her favor by giving her gifts from the shelves of the department store. In their frenzy of happiness, they don’t notice that the girl is taking the fun little game for the truth. When she realizes that she has to give back the alleged gifts, she runs away.

In his last and only long-form film, Hans-Jakob Siber tells the tale of a hunting accident in the Alps, involving two old shepherds. Accompanied by psychedelic music of pop group The Mandrake Memorial and purely visually narrated, Siber's Xeudi is a hypnotic trip to the inner world of the old men and the mountains in which they have made their home.

Two inspiration sources appear clearly: contemporary American gangster movies and Alfred Döblin’s novel Berlin Alexanderplatz (1929).

Peter Kolle, a low-level clerk, and his wife Sabine have a happy marriage, but Peter lacks the necessary funds. Therefore, he secretly works on his invention at a friend's house at night. When his wife finds out, she angrily leaves their apartment and travels to Berlin to see her brother Alphons, to whom Peter had promised at their wedding that he would give up on the invention and to whom he had therefore given all the paperwork. Soon, they both long for each other again: Sabine travels home, Peter to Berlin. And eventually, they meet.
