Sinta's father is dying. On his insistence, Sinta has to marry Roni, though she actually prefers Ricky. Initially, Sinta is grateful to have a husband who is willing to sacrifice for her father's hospital treatment. But Roni turns out to be a pimp, and Sinta is used and sold as a call girl aka “gadis telepon”. The situation becomes intolerable, when Roni's secret is revealed, that he has compromised other girls like Sinta. Sinta stabs her husband. Sinta repents her action in prison.

Reo (Taka Zahara) is a human raised by a wolf who is trained by Barda (Ratno Timoer), the Blind from the Ghost Cave. He lost his father, mother and younger siblings, who were held captive by an evil character who was also greedy in a place called the Green Hell. The journey to find his parents and younger sibling had to go through many obstacles and naturally also fights.

Barda Mandrawata (Ratno Timoer), also known as The Blind Man From the Ghost Cave, is in the Sarpala area which is being hit by a disaster created by the vile magician Tarub. After finishing his business, Barda intends to leave but is given Narisa, a child who is to be returned to his biological parent, Labone, the leader of Sarpala who has fallen in love with Barda despite being betrothed to Latongga (Torro Margens). Meanwhile, Latongga himself is being chased by Radina (Mila Karmila), a female child from the ascetic Sakti. Narisa is wanted by many warriors from various circles, including Tarub, and once he escapes from Barda's hands, Barda is forced to look for him.

Because she violated the doctor’s order to not get pregnant again, Yuwono’s wife finally dies while she is pregnant with her third child. Yuwono then marries an office staff, Ningsih. Harun, another co-worker who also loves Ningsih, tries to destroy Yuwono by tampering with the office’s financial report so that Yuwono is arrested and is investigated. Harun then influences Ningsih, regarding her standing as a stepmother, so that Yuwono’s house is taken over and the stepchildren, Netty and Susy, are treated harshly. The two children run away from home, looking for their father, and are separated for a time. When Yuwono is proven innocent and is released, he does not find his children at home and goes around Jakarta to look for them. He finally finds them again.

In a forest in Mount Bromo, Badra, the Blind Fighter, finds a woman on a stretcher, attacked by a group of villains. Badra quickly acts. Upon her death, the woman asks Badra to take care of the children. So he finds the father of the children. On the way, he is ambushed by his arch enemy and is hurt. The king helps him to recover, then he meets again with his arch enemy.
When army intelligence detects an underground movement, Operation X is carried out. Lieutenant Hadi receives a secret mission to penetrate into the underground movement. In order to keep it secret, Hadi breaks up with his girlfriend, Savitri, for the time being. Spies kidnap Savitri as their hostage when Hadi’s dual role is suspected. But then the army moves in to smash the underground movement and rescue Savitri.
Rafiq is a dangdut singer who comes to Jakarta to advance his career. Parto, his friend from the same village tries to represent him to different recording companies. But they differ because of Rafiq’s naivete and Parto’s city-style plus Parto’s insistence on pop music, and Rafiq’s dedication to dangdut. So their conflict is resolved by a music expert and student, Norma, who is researching dangdut music, and who eventually becomes Rafiq’s girlfriend. But the person who manages to get Rafiq a record deal is Lily, whom Rafiq meets when working in a car shop. Finally, Rafiq gains Norma’s hand when her parents approve their relationship.

Amidst the election rivalry of two villages for the village head post, Cigugur and Cijulang, a troupe of Ronggeng artists, with its prima donna, Sari, arrives at the sub-district center for their regular performance. Sari and Dadang, the son of the Village Elder of Cijulang, are in love with each other. Dadang is also running as a candidate in the village head elections. But Ohim, the son of the Cigugur Village Elder, is also madly in love with Sari. He gets even more daring after a humiliating incident when he tries to touch Sari’s hair bun on the ronggeng stage. The touching of the hair bun is one of the rituals in the traditional art of Ronggeng. Dadang’s father is angered by his son’s relationship with Sari, since it could jeopardize his candidacy as the head of the village.
Disappointed with her marriage, Sahara left Medan and moved to Jakarta, forgetting her profession as a ronggeng dancer. There she met Effendi who invited her to create a national social dance by creating from regional dances.
