Gustavo Pera is born and resident of São Paulo, Brazil. As an editor, he signed the feature films "TORO" and "Insubordinados", the documentary "Mazzaropi" and the series "Bipolar". Recently he directed his first short film: the documentary "Carroça21" (2018), selected for 31º Cinélatino Rencontres de Toulouse in France.

32-year-old Janete has her life on hold. With her dad ( a reformed colonel from the military police) facing a death state in the hospital, she does nothing but spend his last days beside him. While waiting for the inevitable end of this painful journey, Janete writes incessantly, sometimes on her laptop, sometimes on a notebook.

On a day in January, working on a documentary, listening to people's accounts, I realized that the world was upside down and nobody had noticed that. Several social values had changed, a daughter who kills her father, another father who kills his child, an absent mother without a place, violence and the strange feeling that all that is bad comes from the lower classes and the politicians. Nobody noticed that the bad comes from the inside ... inside us, what was not achieved or no longer brings pleasure, everything comes to light in a selfish attitude to be fine! Nobody is so good or so bad.

Carlão, aka Toro, a detective who's tormented by his past as a criminal. After he left working on the police, Carlão became a taxi driver. He tries to move on with his life even still being tormented by his past and new problems.

When he receives a call from a friend who lives in the same street, he reflects different stories of neighborhood residents in parallel with his family's daily life during social isolation.
