When brokenhearted Stan flies to Austin for the weekend in hopes of "accidentally" running into his ex-girlfriend Cathy, he arrives to find their best friends Jeff and Kara in the middle of their own vicious breakup. Before too long, battle lines are drawn – and with the Air Sex World Championships in town, anything can go down.

Consumed by an internet conspiracy about a sinister, unseen entity, a journalist grows increasingly convinced the threat is real. As his investigation deepens, he loses his grip on reality and spirals into paranoia. Ignoring his roommate’s warnings, he turns to a fringe parapsychologist who feeds his obsession. He doesn’t know if he’s closing in on the ominous presence—or if it’s hunting him.
