Four people in love, a young artist with a gypsy woman, as well as another couple, must overcome social barriers and rivalries.

One rainy night, a young, rich and beautiful girl, Eliza, takes refuge in the house of a poor painter friend of hers. She wants to escape her past and the ghosts that haunt her. She becomes a model and the artist's lover, but he has another relationship that does not get in the way, as the previous mistress is getting married to a widower who has a son in love with Eliza. The widower's son searches for the missing Eliza, but when he finds her she is already in the painter's arms. With respect for the fact, he leaves her life and lets her taste happiness with the painter, whom she clearly adores unconditionally.

Two friends and roommates, who face a grave financial problem, try every trick in the book to evade their landlady. Everything will change in their lives when they undertake a secret mission pretending to be detectives.

Petros (Georgos Kambanellis), son of the factory owner Tsamis (Lavrentis Dianellos), is in love with his father's worker Martha (Martha Vourtsi). However, before they can get married, Tsamis' intrigues and scheming lead the relationship to a shipwreck and Petros marries the rich woman approved by his family. Ultimately, however, Tsamis regrets his attitude. Thus, the young couple unite their destinies and live happily ever after.

Angelos, a law student in Athens, is expecting Lavrentis, his rich uncle from the village, hoping that with his money, his luck will change. His uncle though is very sick and the doctors suggest rest and calmness. Youyou, Angelos' girlfriend though suggests otherwise in order to push the rich uncle closer to his death. And so, Angelos, with two friends from his village, Damian and Sarantis start partying with Lavrentis whose health starts getting better and better. In the meantime Angelos meets Myrto, falls madly in love with her and decide to finish his studies and marry her.

Waiting to get their lucky break, three penniless musicians, who are already five months behind in the rent, resort to a reckless fabrication to escape the landlady's wrath. But, what happens if she realises that everything is a cruel lie?
