Africa Star follows three generations of Cypriot women - mother, daughter, and granddaughter - whose lives were tragically altered by one man's submission to temptation. Plagued by guilt over his act in 1945 and his failure to make amends in 1967, the now-ailing octogenarian makes one last attempt in 2008.

The Secret on the Canvas is a dramatic story set in Cyprus, woven with love, betrayal, and secrets buried years ago. Screenwriter Mert, who comes to the island in search of inspiration, finds traces of the forbidden love that painter Ayten had with a Greek Cypriot youth named Nikos in her youth. This discovery leads him to the dark secrets of the past, and during his research, his path crosses with Zehra's, and together they try to uncover a truth that has been hidden for generations.
