A meditative film about the processes of consciousness of a local gangster and his attempts to break away from the group of fellow bohemian villains. The stilled narrative suggests themes such as generalized surveillance, the metamorphosis of the political regime only on the surface in post-communism, the impossibility of escaping from a system – favorite themes of the 90s. Through its metaphorical stylistics, the film is part of a tradition with which the films produced by the National Theatre & Film Academy (ATF) would be associated. -Gabriela Filippi

While fully enjoying the life of the 70's, in communist Romania, a young man is arrested and accused of a terrible crime. Freed a few years later and deeply affected by his sinister experience, he tries to find out what had really happened.

Two peasants from Transylvania go to America in order to meet their brother who had left Romania ten years earlier. They meet a prophet in the American state of Utah and eventually help the cause of justice in the villages where the prophet proves to be a dictator and exploiter of the coal miners over there.

Inspired by a true story, the film presents a TV reporter's journalistic investigation into alleged American "flying prisons" in Romania. Through a combination of circumstances, following a mysterious File 631, Dinu (Iosif Paștina) discovers a leak from a NATO base in Romania. The news event stirs, provokes, tempts various media, top politicians, services, both internal and external, causing both hilarious and absurd dramas in a black comedy. The journalistic endeavour of the "newly" turned investigative reporter is a tough, not easy, test to preserve his professional dignity, but also his character, noting the duplicity, the moral volatility, the lack of measure of a world that relentlessly continues its course.

Set during World War II, somewhere in Eastern Europe. A German soldier is found dead near the village. The local authorities must find the culprit, or they will be all shot by the Nazis the morning after. There's no way to find the guilty one, but there's Ipu, the madman of the village, whom they promise a hero's funeral if he will claims responsibility and agrees to die in their place. He must decide, and time is running out.

Ho Ho Ho2: A Family Lottery is a Christmas movie about Ema (Patricia Poslusnic), a child who still believes that dreams can come true. Ema lives in an orphanage run by Ioana (Andreea Marin Banica), a bitter woman who doesn't like children. One day, while the girl is playing in the orphanage's courtyard with her friends, she finds a lottery ticket. The good news is that she won the jackpot but unfortunately only an adult can claim the prize and the deadline expires in one week. Since she can't trust anybody, Ema decides to escape from the orphanage, find the ideal family to adopt her and cash out the cheque. Her friends and Vlad (Dragos Bucur), a police officer, help her with this adventure. This is when Ema realizes the true meaning of family and friendship
