"Dam Bouers" is Coming to Gluksdal to Build a Dam, Everyone is for it Except Pinkie and Her Father Because the Dam is going to Flood their Farm

A story about a fictional South African police base on the border between Angola and the former South West Africa. While patrolling, a mail convoy is ambushed and most of the soldiers are shot. The captain is rescued, but one of his constables is taken prisoner. The constable’s sister is also the captain’s girlfriend. GRENSBASIS 13 (Border Post 13) tells the story of the captain’s suspenseful and action-filled rescue attempt in order to bring his sweetheart’s brother home.

Five star (hotel) is a sarcastic reference to the Pretoria prison which is central to the plot. An inmate Skollie (A nickname meaning delinquent) escapes from jail with one desire, to be united with his son again. Life outside is much different to what Skollie remembers. Still behind bars are inmates Pappa, Priester and Polka, who are doing everything to prevent Skollie from being reunited with his son, even if that means they have to kill. Skollie discovers that Pappa might be responsible for the death of his mother and he vows revenge.

Fanus is a nerdy sound technician who is never noticed by anyone, and especially not by the boss’s pretty but temperamental daughter, Linda. All this changes with the arrival of alter ego 'Blink Stefaans', who has plenty of advice for Fanus, from how to be more assertive to how to dress. 'Blink' translates to bright or shiny. Suddenly Fanus life changes into a roller-coaster ride of ups and downs. Blink Stefaans, in this gentle romantic comedy.

We meet the hero of this musical drama, Dolf Preller, being released on parole after spending two and a half years in prison. Stipulations for his parole are to stay out of trouble with the law, continue his studies at university and to come into contact with the rector on arriving on campus . Soon after his arrival he runs into Jan van Vollenhoven - the brother of the man he killed, which caused his jail sentence. Van Vollenhoven promises to make life very difficult for him. He also attracts the unwanted attention of Briers and Schoeman, two students that have been trying to pass their third year without success and have earned bad reputations for fooling around rather than doing any studying. He meets the lovely daughter of the rector and a special relationship soon develops between them. The rector, however, makes it clear that Preller is an unacceptable partner for his daughter.

Tjokkie, his mother, and sister Tiemie live together on poverty row. Tjokkie has a gift of psychic ability and is prone to terrifying trances which allow him to see the future. His mother’s husband, a layabout called Giel Swart, sponges off her war pension. Meanwhile, Tiemie is in a relationship with an aggressive biker who has built a dangerous reputation around the suburbs.

Two eccentric woman Ralie and Matilda buys a new big house and then a lot of people starts to visit .Then Ralie gets the bright idea to start a Boarding house!

The film derides the former color issue and its political emphasis on racial purity. A rural NP-election candidate (Cobus Rossouw) discovers to his great embarrassment that he was busy in the run up to the election inexplicably to be literally green. To make matters worse hit government distinction between liggroenes and donkergroenes.

A young man and his girlfriend rebuild an old Tiger Moth with almost no money and parts they battle to find. Her father is totally set against this idea and does not like the boyfriend who claims to be a pilot but does not even have a proper pilot's license. To add to the intrigue, the girlfriend sells her prize white horse to get money for the parts which angers her father even more....
