The film tells the story of Rosa, a tamale maker from the Quebrada de Humahuaca, who invested all her life savings in gold nuggets and suddenly passes away. Her physical disappearance unleashes the madness of her dystopian family, who enter into conflict over the fortune that Rosa left hidden. In the midst of the chaos, Matías, her beloved grandson, must decide whether to escape the madness or embrace his destiny.
Isabel ritually invokes dark forces to keep herself the prettiest and disfigure anyone who threatens her superiority. A date becomes a bloody feast. Moved by, Isabel poisons a friend and makes her whole body burn. These are just some of Isabel's victims on this self-centered journey.
