Feyzi Tuna was born on 20 January 1939 in Balikesir, Turkey. He is a director and actor, known for Devlerin intikami (1967), Daglarin Kartali (1970) and Yasak sokaklar (1965).

The film depicts the struggle for survival of a poor civil servant and his family. Mazlum is in debt to the grocer, the butcher, and his landlord. He tries to support his family on the little money he earns. The landlord evicts Mazlum and his family, using their accumulated debts as an excuse. The family, now homeless, tries to build a shanty house. The shanty house is demolished by the police. Mazlum, who has not been able to go to work for three days, is also fired from his job. One day, they settle into a mansion located in the middle of a cemetery as guards. However, strange things are happening in this mansion.
