Two teenagers, Vera Lúcia and Beto, run through the forest, full of expectation, enthusiasm and fear. She seductively invites him to swim in the river. Beto has to choose between going into the water and staying with Vera Lúcia. Many years later, Roberto spends the day at the foot of a waterfall with his wife, and confronts the results of his choices.

Some time passed and Felícia narrates important moments in her life that took place during this period. She and still has a feeling of incompleteness. Upon meeting Sandra, she will begin to question her dreams and goals in life.
