Victor, a sixty-five-year-old man, is content living with his grandson but frustrated with his daughter and son-in-law’s presence. As his in-laws arrive for dinner, his daughter and son-in-law rearrange his home and urge him to take mysterious pills, but the pillbox is missing. During the search, it’s revealed Victor has plans with his boyfriend and won’t attend dinner. The search uncovers family secrets and taboos, sparing only Victor’s grandson, who understands him and shares laughs with him while secretly eating lollipops.

A story of queer seniors in Spain who, after years of repression, find a safe haven in a community centre in Madrid. During Franco’s dictatorship, thousands of people were imprisoned simply for who they were and whom they loved. Today, they can finally reclaim their dignity, their voice, and a sense of community. We meet Monica, a determined trans activist, Lorenza, who discovered her lesbian identity after turning sixty and survivors of camps for homosexual prisoners. Their stories intertwine with the fight to establish the first public care home for LGBT+ people.
