Fatma Karanfil (3 February 1952 - 4 June 2024) was a Turkish theater, cinema and TV series actress. After studying at LCC, she started working in cinema in 1968 with the third place she won in the Ses magazine contest. She married Ali Kocatepe in 1975 and later separated; she went to London to study textile education between 1976 and 1980, during the sex movie boom. She married for the second time in 1984. After recovering from breast cancer, she returned to the stage in 2001.

Recep, a retired soldier, is left alone after losing his wife. He lives a routine life every day. She cannot get along with her upper neighbor Nilgün, who is a prostitute. He tries to kick Nilgün out of the apartment because he is the manager. One day, his grandson Ali comes to stay for a while. He advises Ali to stay away from Nilgün.

The story of the film is about the Gallipoli Campaign during World War I on the Gallipoli Peninsula in Turkey in 1915. The film covers the resurrection of Turkey following its defeat in the Balkan War, through depictions of Sergeant Mehmet Ali (Ali Ersan Duru) from Biga, Corporal Seyit and many others. To help Russia and threaten Constantinople, the Allies try to force through the Dardanelles Straight with a large fleet. Through a series of historical sketches, the film documents how they were defeated despite many difficulties and hardships.

In the first segment, “Yılın Kadını Değil”, a mother risks her own safety by stabbing her friend to protect her daughter from his dangerous influence. The second segment, “İki Günahsız Kız”, follows two innocent young women navigating love and temptation—one’s story remains untold due to production constraints, leaving the anthology incomplete.

In Byzantine Empire, a man (hired to repair the caslte) is wrongly accused of killing a young girl and sentenced to death.

The film tells the story of a convict who fights against the injustice of prison management. Arap Kadir is new to prison. He earns prison leader Fethi’s trust in no time thanks to his honesty and audacity. But Arap Kadir is left with no protection when Fethi is exiled to another prison. Seeing this as an advantage, the management decide to bring Arap Kadir to his knees.

The film tells the love story of Reyhan, who works as a sales assistant at a record company, and Mehmet, a driver. Mehmet is going to Germany to buy a car. His fiancée Reyhan does not want him to go. Ekrem, the King of Nightclubs, hears Reyhan sing by chance. He decides to make her a singing star. Reyhan initially rejects the offer but later accepts it, thinking she can buy a car and prevent Mehmet from going to Germany. Mehmet, believing Reyhan has chosen fame over him, leaves her. As Mehmet is about to leave for Germany, he falls into a trap set by Ekrem and ends up in prison. The gambling tricks he learns in prison open the door to wealth for him. Mehmet is determined to take revenge on Ekrem and Reyhan. However, there is one thing Mehmet does not know.



The film tells the story of a man who is abandoned by his wife and tries to win her forgiveness. The famous actor Şükrü's fondness for women causes his wife to leave him. Şükrü falls into a deep loneliness in his wife's absence. Over time, he begins to lose his fame. In a moment of despair, he meets his friend Rıfkı. Rıfkı offers to organize an Anatolian tour for Şükrü. They quickly assemble a team and set off on the tour. This tour will be an opportunity for Şükrü to win back his wife and his fame.
