A young and unworldly kung fu student is now the student of an evil teacher, the villainous Manchu Lord Tsoi. The young impressionable man soon learns that his choice has made him a villain to his own family and people.

Kuan-Chun Chi stars as Kun Tak, a monastery worker who falls victim to the ploys of a sinister monk and flees his temple in shame, only to fortuitously cross paths with a host of martial arts masters who school him in the ways of kung fu. Once Kun Tak becomes a master himself, he returns to the temple to exact revenge against the monk and reveal his evil plot to the world. Directed by Chiu Lee, the film also stars Fei Meng.

The Sword King loses the sword, his master is killed and is forced to join forces with his opponent from the duel to retrieve it. Along the way they are joined by the daughter of the Blind Master and later the Beggar Army.
