Father Karlheinz Liebtraut and daughter Elke live together and don't know how to introduce their partners to each other. As a precaution, Mr. Liebtraut rigorously throws out any man who approaches his daughter. Even the subtle hints from neighbor Mrs. Seidenglanz don't help the obtuse father - and he also has his secrets. After many misunderstandings, the daughter finally meets Paula, her father's future wife, and daughter Elke no longer has to pass her Hanspeter off as an electrician.
The water sports fans of a cooperative on the coast finally want to acquire a seaworthy sailing ship. But at the board they encounter deaf ears. Only the chief accountant Irma shows interest in sailing and especially the leisure captain named Ali. Then a minister surprisingly his visit. Irma devises a plan to support the sailors. In order to vote the Minister benevolently, flights, a company sports community should be launched. The founding of a sailing section would be just right. But unfortunately, the Chairman Scheffel continues to be cross. He even wants to use the storage space of the sailors. Only when the minister finds pleasure in the spontaneously organised sailing trip for him, movement comes into the affair.

When twin brothers Georg and Steffen look a little too deeply into their glasses one day, they decide to swap roles for 14 days. Georg is the manager of a large department store and Steffen is a writer. The two experience bizarre situations: The department store director is adored by a saleswoman with a passion for literature and has to report on his literary work as the guest of honor at a brigade meeting. He is also short of ideas for the lively stories he is supposed to write. The writer, on the other hand, is not very familiar with the bureaucratic customs of running a department store. He allows all the sales assistants to take their housekeeping day at once, approves 3,000 marks for decoration purposes and approves of all departments of the department store being open until 8pm.
Laboratory technician Jutta and factory worker Peter have been a couple since the summer and are enjoying their time together. One day, Jutta realizes that she might be pregnant. The doctor doesn't want to make a preliminary diagnosis until Monday - and today is Friday. The weekend is a tough test for Jutta. How should she decide - for or against the child, should she get married, should she have an abortion? The encounters with Peter, her parents, her friend with the twins and her colleagues don't make it any easier. In the end, Jutta and Peter have to decide on their own.

This comedic musical tells the story of Gabi, a young hairdresser from the Baltic coast who desperately wants to be a jockey. One day, she packs her bags, drives to Hoppegarten, and is soundly rejected by the head coach. Gabi doesn't want to give up, and in order to at least have a roof over her head, she rushes into a marriage with the seemingly nice Freddie. However, this marriage soon proves to be her second rejection, as Freddie openly dislikes the fact that she wants to be a jockey.
After Jochen saves police officer Erich's life, the two men become close friends and Erich helps Jochen get a job working for Berlin's local train system. But Jochen falls into the hands of the beautiful West Berlin agent Ellen, who convinces him to participate in acts of sabotage against the trains. All of a sudden, Jochen is making a lot more money and even Erich's former girlfriend Inge becomes interested in him. But everything begins to unravel when Erich observes his friend's illegal activity on one of his nightly rounds.
Adam, Evchen, and Manni are looking at the moon through their home-made telescope. Evchen isn't interested, and dismisses the moon as a lump of cheese. Manni, who is a big fan of technology, sees satellites and a car driving over the moon's surface. But Adam hears the moon speak, and hears it ask for flowers to cover its surface. From then on, Adam is determined to breed a kind of flower that can grow on the moon.
