Sandra, a teenager who lives in the countryside, is brutally abused by her neurotic and alcoholic father. After his death, Sandra goes to San Francisco to experience the free love.

Convicts on a chain gang sniff formaldehyde fumes to get high. They attempt a prison break and are shot down by the guards. After being buried, they rise from the dead, killing all in their path with shovels and hoes.

This is a low budget western about six undesired women who are taken out of a western town and transported to prison. Their adventures along the way are the basis for the film. The head man, Charley, is in charge of making sure the women stay in line. One night, Dolores, a Mexican girl, tries to escape. Charley catches her and has her tied to a tree, hanging by her wrists, for punishment. He strips her to the waist and lays a bull whip on her back.

The story of eight people, four couples that find themselves at the Mayflower Hotel on a rainy summer night, each looking for a relationship that will add meaning to their lives.
