The mid 90’s. Turkey’s political instability, inflation and hopelesness on people were increased. In those years when all hope was lost, people deeply bond with Bold Pilot and Halis Karataş who win every race coming from the last place. People see themselves at the point where this horse and jockey are: at the back. This duo make people to believe that everybody can win. The race ends at the finish line and the first to cross this line are Bold Pilot and Halis riding it.

This film about the story of two brothers who do not want to sell the carpet field inherited from their father tells a funny and sometimes sad dille to struggle to kill their dreams despite the difficulties and the neighborhood solidarity from time to time.

Bayram works at a textile workshop in his spare time after school to help support his family. After his father's death, his older brother took on all the responsibility of providing for the family. Bayram supports his brother as much as he can by working at the textile workshop after school. When his brother is drafted into the army, Bayram is left alone at home with his mother and embarks on a journey into the unknown.

After a tragic miscarriage, Nimet -a middle aged woman- gets stuck in the conservative society in Istanbul while her beloved younger sister Öznur carries a burden of her own in the family, trying to struggle her own demons.
