In every attempt at subversion, there are two moments: the one just before, when everyone doubts and no one knows how to hide fear, and the one just after, when all that remains is to run and find a safe place, maybe in memory.
Patricia Lamas, with her generosity and energy, invited us to improvise-play-share at the recently opened creation centre L'animal a la esquena (Celrá, Girona). From that meeting resulted, among others, these improvisations.
Gustavo is moving out. After several weeks of delaying the move, he has run out of excuses. The time has come to pluck up his courage and leave the family nest. But when Pilar, his wife, and Sofía, his seven-year-old daughter, come home, he is still there. A sparrow has flown in through the window and he can't get it out. Sofía thinks the little bird is a gift from her dad, and Pilar thinks it's another one of Gustavo's tricks to avoid leaving.
Ray does not know what he is doing at a party full of strangers.
