In his 10-year career, rapper Emicida mixed musical genres, worked with several artists, created projects in honor of other musicians and set up a company, Laboratório Fantasma, which is a record label, studio, producer of shows and a clothing brand; all of this having urban art as a principle. With the intention of celebrating this moment, he organized a historic show, with a setlist of 27 songs and 13 guests on November 20th, 2017, Black Consciousness Day.
Discover the history of the Chic Show ball, an iconic black music party in São Paulo. The event was a milestone in the life of São Paulo. Held in halls across the city in the 1970s and 1980s, the show became a meeting point for black culture and opened up space for funk, soul, rap and pagode, among other rhythms.
