After living in the city, Andrei Khodas returns to the land and settles on a farm. However, the rapidly growing city catches up with him here. A couple of young and energetic businessmen intend to buy a picturesque area for new construction and are trying to evict its few inhabitants.

Occupied France, 1942. Gilles is arrested by SS soldiers alongside other Jews and sent to a camp in Germany. He narrowly avoids sudden execution by swearing to the guards that he is not Jewish, but Persian. This lie temporarily saves him, but Gilles gets assigned a life-or-death mission: to teach Farsi to Head of Camp Koch, who dreams of opening a restaurant in Iran once the war is over. Through an ingenious trick, Gilles manages to survive by inventing words of "Farsi" every day and teaching them to Koch.

Valya has become the owner of a modeling agency. Natasha runs a confectionery factory. Tanya is an artist preparing for her latest exhibition. After the reunion, each of them returns to her own “perfect world.” But once home, Valya, Natasha, and Tanya — each alone in her apartment — fall onto their pillows and burst into tears. In reality, their lives are far from perfect, yet none of them wanted to admit it to their former classmates. When they meet again, the three friends finally confess their troubles to one another.
