The life of a brilliant scientist who managed to live in the era of “developed” socialism in accordance with his own ideas about freedom and morality did not leave indifferent either his colleagues or the authorities.

Bathroom. A place where everyone is left alone with himself and can not be shy and not hide anything. What if one day in a family’s life is watched exclusively through a bathroom mirror? What do the seemingly closest people hide from each other?

Today’s twenty-something Russians are the first generation in the country’s post-communist history to have grown up free. Their twenties are the age of freedom, of fast-changing events and intense emotions. Perhaps only at this age they can live a whole life in one day. A young girl and her two accident companions walk halfway around St.-Petersburg; they flirt and tease each other, and for ninety minutes they act out a real-time romantic drama. This stroll is full of laughter and tears against a backdrop of the hustle and bustle of the streets.

Europe, 1709. Russia and Sweden are at war. Two French duelists are exiled by King Louis XIV of France: one to the side of Czar Peter the Great of Russia, the other to the side of King Charles XII of Sweden. Although separated by war and allegiance, fate has not finished with them.

The boy caught a goldfish and without begging for anything, lets go. In gratitude, the goldfish decided to give the boy a new imported bicycle, which the boy had long dreamed of. And so the boy comes home with a new bike. Parents are surprised, questioned and, of course, do not believe their son. Can a goldfish give bicycles? They suspect the son of theft and deception. But finally, the boy manages to convince his parents and justify his honest name. But this fact immediately becomes the property of a small provincial town. Requests and orders rained down on the boy with immediate fulfillment of desires.

A film from the life of a provincial doctor. The peculiarity of the narrative is that the doctor is Azerbaijani by nationality, and he works in the Russian outback. This is a story of complicated relationships between different mentalities, cultures and traditions that are taking place at all levels of Russian society today.
