Biography
Efthimis Filippou is an author, playwright, screenwriter, and journalist. His works for the stage have been presented at the Athens Epidaurus Festival, the Greek National Opera, the National Theatre of Greece, Onassis Stegi, and elsewhere in Greece and beyond. His works for the screen have been awarded at such film festivals as Cannes and Venice, and nominated at the Oscars. He regularly collaborates with director Yorgos Lanthimos, with whom he has co-written the screenplays for several acclaimed films, including Dogtooth (2009), Alps (2011), The Lobster (2015), The Killing of a Sacred Deer (2017), and Kinds of Kindness (2024).

Polydroso
Sophia, the daughter, is returning to the Athenian suburb of Polydroso to take care of Sophia, the mother. Back in her neighbourhood, she will confront the reasons that made her leave in the first place. Polydroso is a mystical isolated suburb and both Sophias spend their time daydreaming about ghosts of the past. A film about tender people in a non-tender world.

A nurse, a paramedic, a gymnast and her coach offer a service for hire wherein they stand in for dead people by appointment, hired by relatives, friends or colleagues of the deceased, to assist with the grieving process.

Dogtooth
Three teenagers are confined to an isolated country estate that could very well be on another planet. The trio spend their days listening to endless homemade tapes that teach them a whole new vocabulary. Any word that comes from beyond their family abode is instantly assigned a new meaning. Hence 'the sea' refers to a large armchair and 'zombies' are little yellow flowers. Having invented a brother whom they claim to have ostracized for his disobedience, the uber-controlling parents terrorize their offspring into submission.

Attenberg
Marina, 23, is growing up with her architect father in a prototype factory town by the sea. In the middle of the Aegean Sea, six men on a fishing trip on a luxury yacht decide to play a game. During this game, things will be compared. Things will be measured. Songs will be butchered, and blood will be tested. Friends will become rivals and rivals will become hungry. But at the end of the journey, when the game is over, the man who wins will be the best man. And he will wear on his smallest finger the victory ring: the Chevalier.
