The film tells the story of the emptiness of time and interpersonal relationships.

Four young girls, Leja, Sanja, Nina and Ines enter a beauty pageant in their local shopping mall. After an official pageant party Leja, Sanja and Nina come home, still drunk from the wild night and notice Ines did not come with them.

The infant mortality rate in the maternity ward of a hospital increases suspiciously - allegedly due to an unknown pulmonary disease. When Doctor Barbara decides to inform the public of this tragic phenomenon, a number of the doctors, including the hospital management, try to prevent her.

Peter, whose father was a member of the Home Guard collaboration forces and a political emigrant, returns from Argentina to Slovenia, his father’s homeland. In Slovenia, Peter makes the acquaintance of an architect, but their friendship is fraught with ideological conflicts.

Doing so she meets a younger boy Pero which she finds a bit shady but cool and together they go on a journey to find out how meaningless is what was and will be.
